自動車・航空業界、スタートアップ関係の若手メンバーを中心とした有志団体「Dream On（旧CARTIVATOR）」との共同プロジェクト。「空飛ぶクルマ」が存在する時代における文化の形質を探求していきます。
移動社会学者のジョン・アーリは、モビリティとはわたしたちの時間感覚を操作する4次元的なツールだと述べました。車からスマートフォンに至る数々のモビリティによって、わたしたちは都市独自の時間体験をつくりだしてきたのです。そして、モビリティは都市のハードとソフトのインターフェースでもあります。あたらしいモビリティを考えることは、あたらしい都市体験を編集することにほかならないのです。
では「空飛ぶクルマ」が紡ぎ出す都市体験とはなんでしょうか？固定的な交通インフラを必要としない垂直離着陸型のモビリティは、真に自由な、オーダーメイドの移動シークエンスを提供します。また交通インフラの整備が必要なくなることで、自然の地表環境を保存したまま都市を成立させられるようになるかもしれません。大地と空、自然と人工のネットワークが重なり合う、ダブルレイヤーの共生都市のモビリティなのです。
そしてこのプロジェクトの何より重要な点は、同じヴィジョンを共有するボランティアによって成立しているということです。これは未来というものの認識を「実現可能な」ものから「実現したい」ものへとシフトさせる試みだと言えるはずです。「空飛ぶクルマ」によって変化するのは、3次元的な空間体験でも4次元的な時間感覚でもなく、未来への進み方（mobile）なのかもしれません。

This is a joint project with "Dream On", a voluntary group of young members from the automotive and aviation industries and startups. The project explores the cultural traits of the era in which flying cars exist.
John Ary, a sociologist of mobility, said that mobility is a four-dimensional tool for manipulating our sense of time. From cars to smartphones, we've created a unique urban experience of time through numerous forms of mobility. And mobility is also the interface between the hard and soft of the city. Thinking about new mobility is nothing less than editing new urban experiences.
So what kind of urban experience can a flying car create? Without the need for a fixed transportation infrastructure, vertical take-off and landing mobility provides a truly free, tailor-made travel sequence. In addition, by eliminating the need for transportation infrastructure, cities may be able to be established while preserving their natural surface environment. It is the mobility of a double-layered symbiotic city, where the earth and sky, natural and man-made networks overlap.
And most importantly, the project is made possible by volunteers who share the same vision. This is an attempt to shift our perception of the future from what is "feasible" to what we want to achieve. What will be changed by "flying cars" may not be a three-dimensional experience of space or a four-dimensional sense of time, but a way of moving into the future (mobile).
