1996 – 2000, he worked in Tadao Ando Architect & Associates. In 2002, Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation (AAD).
2002 – 2006, he subsequently worked for SHoP Architects (New York). Based in Tokyo and Taipei since 2007, and set up Noiz architects with Jia-Shuan Tsai. (Kosuke Sakai also became a partner since 2016).
He does designs, installations, consulting, etc. applying digital technology centering on architecture both in Japan and abroad.
Since 2017, co-presided with Mr. Mitsuhiro Kaneda and Mr. Tetsuji Kuroda, a technology-based consulting platform “gluon” in architecture and urban context, as well as adjunct professor at the Art Media Center of Tokyo University of the Arts, Art Media Center, and at SFC Environmental Information Faculty of Keio University, Assistant Professor at Institute of Architecture of National Chiao Tung University in Taiwan. Also adjunct professor at Institute of Advanced Media Arts and Sciences (IAMAS)
